Our satisfaction is your satisfaction.
If we’re not 100% satisfied with a primitive, whether it’s handcrafted on site or purchased elsewhere for resale, we certainly wouldn’t expect our customer to be. Only primitives that meet our strict quality scrutiny are offered for sale.
This primitive named “Watermelon Express”, is an example of one of the unique home decor items you’ll be delighted to discover at Primitive Dreams. It is entirely handcrafted and treated to give it a warm, rustic, aged appearance.
We continuously strive to handcraft products that offer décor versatility, exude quality and display attention to even the smallest design detail.
In fact, visitors to our studio location in Collingwood, Ontario Canada, will often describe our handcrafted primitives as beautiful, while also noting the careful attention to detail and craftsmanship they feel are evident in our products. Customers will often leave feeling inspired with new home decorating ideas.
This burlap pillow is an example of a custom piece designed & handcrafted in our studio, that was given as part of a wedding gift.
Give a prim…warm a heart

Our handcrafted primitives are treated to a natural aging process, giving our finished products a warm, rustic and aged appearance.
For example, handcrafted muslin items such as primitive dolls, bowl fillers, and samplers, will be given a natural tea, coffee or spice mixture treatment, or perhaps a combination of two, depending on the artist’s desired effect.
We strongly believe that we must do our part to help reduce the unnecessary garbage that reaches its’ final resting place in our landfill sites.
One way we put this belief into action, is through our candle club that encourages clients to return their empty sixteen ounce glass candle jars to us. Upon jar return they are given a punched candle club card and a 10% discount towards the purchase of another sixteen ounce jar candle of their choice. When a client has returned five empty jars to us, their sixth candle is free! We then design ways to repurpose those unwanted jars.
